WISCASSET, Maine — Police have identified the second driver who was injured in a head-on collision that killed a woman Friday.
Jiri Slosar, 65, of Lexington, Massachusetts, was driving a Jetta that apparently crossed the center line on Route 1 and struck a vehicle driven by Henry Barstow, 83, of Bristol, according to Wiscasset police.
Alice Barstow of Bristol died in the crash. She was a passenger in Henry Barstow’s vehicle. Henry Barstow is in satisfactory condition at Maine Medical Center in Portland while Slosar is listed in critical condition at the same hospital.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wiscasset Police Department, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and the Lincoln County district attorney’s office.
