OAKFIELD, Maine — A local man suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Oakfield on Thursday night, according to the Maine State Police.
Sgt. Josh Haines said in a written statement late Thursday that the crash happened at 9:26 p.m. in the southbound lane on Interstate 95 in Oakfield.
According to Haines, Kenneth Cabral was southbound in his 2006 Mercury sedan when he lost control and left the roadway, striking some trees.
Cabral was not wearing a seat belt and suffered minor facial injuries in the crash. He was taken by Houlton Ambulance to Houlton Regional Hospital.
The air bag deployed, Haines indicated. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Trooper Tim Saucier investigated the crash.
