LYMAN, Maine — Police say a man hid cocaine in his underwear, then in a police cruiser.
Troopers say they stopped Franklin Salcedo late Thursday night in Lyman because his license plate lights were out.
They say he told them he was driving from Massachusetts to visit a friend in Maine.
Troopers say they figured out that the friend’s home is a known drug house.
Police took Salcedo into custody and searched his car, but found nothing.
They arrested him for driving without a license.
When the trooper went back to his cruiser, police say he found a baggy containing 13 grams of cocaine on the passenger floorboard.
Police say Salcedo concealed it in his underwear before they searched his car, then stashed it under the seat in the cruiser once they cuffed him.
