OWLS HEAD, Maine — Teenagers were issued summonses Saturday night for underage drinking.
There were 12 juveniles at the home in Owls Head, according to Knox County Sheriff Donna Dennison. Ten were determined to have been drinking while the other two were not, she said.
The sheriff said no adult was present at the home off Bayside West. She said there was no record in the case file of a person being charged with providing a place for underage people to drink.
Deputies responded shortly after 12:30 a.m. Sunday, the sheriff said. The youths were from Rockland, Owls Head and St. George.
