VAN BUREN, Maine — Local police are seeking the public’s help in locating Michael C. Doucette, 30, who also is known as Michael Hoague.
A post Tuesday on the Van Buren Police Department’s Facebook page indicates a felony arrest warrant has been issued for Doucette, who was “last seen on a security camera” at about 7:30 p.m. Monday in the neighboring community of Hamlin.
The post does not indicate why he is wanted but indicates “we are attempting to quickly take him into custody.” Citizens are warned not to approach Doucette if they spot him or know where he is but to immediately contact dispatch at at 1-800-432-7842 or TEXT info to 207-538-TIPS.
When contacted by phone for more information, police said nothing more would be released other than what was posted on the Facebook site.
The only other information on the site was a description of Doucette, who is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 250 pounds and has brown eyes, reddish brown hair and a full beard. He also has multiple tattoos.
