A typographical error in the police records turned heads in Southwest Harbor, where the Mount Desert Islander reported that law enforcement responded to a May 19 case of a white truck “driving erotically.”
Police clarified to the newspaper that the report should have stated the vehicle was driving erratically.
The truck was just one call in a week that also a case in which an individual called to report that they believed a cookie left behind by a former tenant was laced with marijuana. The caller said a family member ate the cookie.
