WILTON, Maine — State police are investigating the shooting death of a New Sharon man that occurred early Wednesday morning.
Police identified the deceased man as Michael Reis, 24, of New Sharon, Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said.
The identity of the male shooter, who is cooperating with police, was not disclosed, McCausland said.
The shooting occurred at a mobile home on Weld Road around 1 a.m., McCausland said.
Several people were at the mobile home at the time of the incident, and police plan to conduct multiple interviews.
No other information was disclosed.
