BATH, Maine — Three cows were no match for two Bath police officers Thursday morning.
The cows got loose around 7:30 a.m., after getting through an electric fence on Bay Shore Road.
A call came in a short time later, when the cows were spotted miles away near Bath Country Club.
Officer Brett McIntire and Cpl. Michelle Small were able to corral the cows and kept them in line until their owner showed up with a trailer.
