PORTLAND, Maine — Portland police say the fire department has recovered the body of a 42-year-old man.
Police say the man fell in the water off the Eastern Promenade around 11:20 p.m. Wednesday.
His body was recovered early Thursday morning.
Police say he apparently drowned.
