AUBURN, Maine — A new adventure park in Auburn is packed with inflatable water slides.
Lost Valley Adventure Park is a new summertime venture for Lost Valley ski area, the closest ski resort to the Greater Portland Area.
It’s no secret Maine had an unusually warm winter in Maine, and Lost Valley said this is the first step to expanding its facility into more than just a winter destination.
“We all think it would be very important to have other things going on in the off-season when we’re not skiing,” said Tad Bettcher of Lost Valley Adventure Park
“Great location here for doing things in the summertime. Trying to promote four seasons of activity here at Lost Valley when in the past we’ve just been open in the wintertime and just operating as a banquet facility in the summer,” Bettcher said.
Lost Valley will also be adding Euro bungee and rock climbing wall to its adventure park this summer.
The park opens for the season June 16, with a grand opening set for June 20.
