BANGOR, Maine — Authorities are investigating a shooting in Eddington that occurred early Sunday morning, according to local media.
WABI-TV reported that the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Hill Street around 6 a.m. after reports of a “disturbance.”
Deputies from the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office handed the investigation to Maine State Police detectives and left the scene before 9:30 a.m.
So far, police have provided few details about the incident. A Maine State Police lieutenant is expected to update media on the investigation later today.
