GREENVILLE, Maine — Searchers continued Tuesday to look for a missing local woman who has dementia.
Clarice Jardine, 76, had not been located as of Tuesday afternoon, according to Greenville police.
Game wardens, firefighters, police, forest rangers and the Maine Association of Search and Rescue were aiding in the search, police reported Tuesday.
Planes and helicopters also were utilized in the search for Jardine. No new information regarding the search for Jardine was disclosed Tuesday afternoon.
Jardine has been missing since Monday morning from her residence at the Mayhew Manor. Police also were asking town residents to check buildings and vehicles in search for Jardine but to not call out her name.
Jardine, who is traveling by foot, has her red Pomeranian dog with her.
Jardine is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a dark blue sweater, a dark blue windbreaker, black pants and gray sneakers. She also may be wearing glasses and gold and silver bracelets.
