PORTLAND, Maine — The Cat is on the prowl in Portland.
High-speed ferry service to Nova Scotia is now underway.
The ferry arrived in Portland’s harbor around 1 p.m. Wednesday, and the first ferry to Nova Scotia left around 2:30 p.m.
The Cat can carry about 800 passengers, 225 cars, and get to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, in less than six hours.
Adults pay $107 one way, $194 round-trip. Prices vary depending on if you bring your car.
Service continues through Sept. 30.
