BRUNSWICK, Maine — Arrest warrants were issued Tuesday for two Arizona men indicted by a Cumberland County grand jury for allegedly stealing more than $10,000 in equipment from Tempus Jets’ Brunswick facility, where they previously were employed.

Chad Kasel, 46, of Tuscon, Arizona, and Clint Pyeatt, 45, of Mammoth, Arizona, were indicted by a Cumberland County grand jury on Class B felony theft charges.

According to the indictments, the men took “tools and/or parts and/or aircraft maintenance and calibration equipment” worth more than $10,000 from the company between Oct. 23, 2015, and Nov. 6, 2015.

Warrants were issued for the two men on Tuesday, with the stipulation they each be held on $10,000 cash bail.

Brunswick police Lt. Michael Moody said Wednesday that the men allegedly stole equipment worth “a significant” amount of money, but he declined to specify the amount. “They have cooperated fully with the investigation,” Moody added but declined to comment further on the case.

Virginia-based Tempus Jets Inc., a subsidiary of Tempus, relocated its aircraft business to Hangar 6 at the former Brunswick Naval Air Station in 2013. As of April, the company occupied 84,000 square feet at what is now Brunswick Landing.

A spokeswoman for Tempus Jets did not return a phone call seeking comment Wednesday.
