A woman died after falling from the Joshua Chamberlain Bridge on Monday night.
Bangor police responded to the plaza under the bridge, at Broad Street, for a report that Jessica Emery, 44, “had fallen,” spokesperson Katy England said. Emery, who was homeless, was taken to a hospital and later died.
Police declined to release any additional information as it is an ongoing investigation, England said.
