NORTH BERWICK, Maine — A Saturday morning traffic stop in North Berwick landed a Sanford resident in jail after drugs and drug paraphernalia were found in his car.
Samuel Chernin, 24 of Sanford was charged with unlawful possession of a schedule W drug and possession of hypodermic apparatuses after North Berwick officers found cocaine, Suboxone, marijuana, a scale and several hypodermic needles. Chernin was transported to the York County Jail, where his bail was set at $5,500.
