BOOTHBAY HARBOR, Maine — Two kayakers were rescued Thursday near Boothbay Harbor.
The Coast Guard said the pair called them around 2:30 p.m. to report that they capsized near White Island, but were able to make it to shore.
A Coast Guard crew was already in the area for training, and went to the scene to rescue them with a helicopter.
Crews were finally able to get to them about three hours later.
No one was hurt.
