BREWER, Maine — A man who has been missing since last week could have the resources to be anywhere in the country, according to Brewer police.
Gordon Brewster, 78, was last seen at 8:50 a.m. June 30 on Colonial Circle, according to Brewer Public Safety Director Jason Moffitt.
The only possible sightings of Brewster that have been reported to authorities were on Wilson Street in the vicinity of the Brewer Auditorium between 10 and 11 a.m. on June 30, Moffitt said.
Police later said they believe Brewster left the area.
Brewster stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has brown eyes and grey hair and was last seen wearing a white or light colored button-down shirt, khaki pants, a black leather jacket, a golf-type hat and brown shoes.
Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is urged to call Detective Scott Young at 989-7001.
