HARTLAND, Maine — Somerset County sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help in locating a man who has not shown up at a family member’s camp in Hartland.

Francis Phillips, 66, of Pensacola, Florida, was due to arrive at the camp on Wednesday and did not do so, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.

Phillips flew into T.F. Green Airport in Providence, Rhode Island, on July 1, upon which he rented a car, a tan Ford Fusion bearing South Carolina license plates MIC 926, according to the statement.

On Sunday, Phillips fueled up the vehicle in Lexington, Massachusetts, and has not been seen or heard from since.

Friends and family have been trying to contact Phillips, who may have dementia issues, with no luck.

Anybody who has seen Phillips or the vehicle, call their local law enforcement agency or the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office at 474-9591.
