We’ve been listening to your feedback about your experiences and we’ve just launched an upgraded classifieds website.
Because we know more and more Mainers are reading, searching and getting business done using their phones, the new site works as well on your phone or tablet as it does on your laptop or desktop computer.
The new site features a simpler interface, while keeping all the familiar categories.
Placing ads will be much easier, whether you’re using a computer or touchscreen device. Just sign in, click the orange “Place an Ad” button, and follow the steps to fill out the ad and choose among various options to increase your ad’s visibility. A progress tracker will show you where you are in the ad placement process.
Searching for ads is easier than ever, and the new site also suggests other ads you might be interested in based on the ads you view.
For some types of classifieds, such as real estate, rentals and yard sales, it’s all about location. The new site lets you view your search results on a map. Click on each pin on the map to view the full ads for each item.
