WINTHROP, Maine — The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency recovered $15,000 worth of heroin at a Mount Pisgah Road home Friday after arresting three residents and a Connecticut man during an investigation into drug trafficking in Kennebec County.
Agents from the MDEA South Central Task Force in Augusta arrested two local men Thursday following an investigation that included the undercover purchase of heroin, Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said Saturday.

The investigation led Friday to the home of Michelle St. Laurent on Mount Pisgah Road, where MDEA agents, officers from the Winthrop Police Department and state troopers allegedly found 76 grams of heroin and $2,400 cash during a search, McCausland said.
St. Laurent, 28, was charged Friday with aggravated trafficking in schedule W drugs, a Class A crime, and violation of condition of release. She resident is being held without bail, McCausland said.
Tyrone Lindsay, 20, of Waterbury, Connecticut, was charged Friday with aggravated trafficking in schedule W drugs, a Class A crime, and held on a $20,000 bond. Lindsay was at St. Laurent’s residence when investigators arrived, McCausland said.
The Winthrop and Monmouth police departments, state police and Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation, McCausland said.
Werner made bail Thursday. Ackerly, St. Laurent and Lindsay remained in Kennebec County Jail Saturday. If they fail to post bail, they will be arraigned at Kennebec County Superior Monday, a jail spokesman said.
