HERMON, Maine — Andrew Crosby of Hermon and Dustin Lancaster of Milo shared victory lane at Speedway 95 Wednesday night as each won a Modified Enduro 20-lap feature.
The first event, a makeup from last Wednesday’s rain-shortened show, was won by Crosby after he raced side-by-side with Holden’s Steve Moulton at the front of the 16-car field over the second half of the event.
Crosby finally took the lead for good on lap 17 when Kimball faltered and faded to a fourth-place finish. Jeff Overlock Jr. of Hermon finished in second, with Mark Sawyer of Corinth placing third and Danielle Beale of Hampden taking fifth after running as high as second.
In the regularly scheduled 20-lap feature, Dustin Lancaster led from the pole to the checkers, with Stetson’s Keith Drost on his bumper from lap one. Drost tried the inside and the outside, but was unable to unseat Lancaster from the top spot. Drost finished second, with Corinth’s Mark Sawyer in third. Fourth went to Jeff Overlock Jr. of Hermon with Steve Kimball finishing fifth in a borrowed car.
