YORK, Maine — A Massachusetts man died Friday from injuries suffered when his vehicle crashed on the Maine Turnpike.

Edward Goldman, 65, of Wrentham, Massachusetts, was exiting the northbound side of the turnpike at Exit 7 just before 4 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle, which overturned and hit a tree, according to a news release from Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.

Goldman was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to Portsmouth Hospital in New Hampshire and was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation.

No additional information was immediately available.
