BRUNSWICK, Maine — A Bath woman was taken to Mid Coast Hospital on Thursday evening after she lost control of her car on Bath Road and crashed through a warehouse.

Lindsay Easterling, 28, was traveling north on Bath Road when her car crossed the centerline, crossed two commercial properties and went airborne, crashing into the side of and then through a warehouse, according to a news release from Brunswick police Lt. Todd Ridlon.

The warehouse was empty at the time, but a construction worker behind the building heard the crash and used a fire extinguisher to douse a small fire inside the warehouse before police or fire crews arrived, Ridlon said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Brunswick Police Department’s reconstruction team. Police do not think alcohol was a factor, according to Ridlon.
