BANGOR, Maine — Four area men have been indicted by a Penobscot County grand jury on methamphetamine lab charges.
Jared Lovett, 29, of Lincoln, Brandon McCann, 25, of Brewer and Jeff Miller, 25, of Bangor are all facing a charge of unlawful operation of a meth lab.
The fourth man, Walter Botelho, 51, of Brewer, is accused of aggravated operation of a meth lab.
Officials have responded to 87 meth-related incidents thus far in 2016.
Miller was arrested in May after a meth lab was discovered in his apartment in Bangor’s Capehart neighborhood, while Lovett was arrested in Lincoln the day before Miller’s arrest.
Botelho was also arrested in May after a suspected meth lab was found at his Brewer residence.
