PARKMAN, Maine — A single-vehicle crash left two people dead and a third injured in Parkman early Saturday morning.
The crash happened at about 1 a.m. on North Dexter Road, according to a Piscataquis County emergency dispatcher. A third person was taken to a hospital by a LifeFlight of Maine helicopter.
The names of the two people who died in the crash were not immediately available Saturday, and the dispatcher said he did not know the name of the hospital where the injured person was taken.
Speed and alcohol were likely factors in the crash, the dispatcher said.
The accident remains under investigation.
