BANGOR, Maine — The Maine State Police is seeking the public’s assistance in its effort to identify the suspect who stole a pickup truck in Hollis, according to a news release posted on its Facebook page.
State police received a report of a vehicle stolen from 34 Waterboro Road in Hollis sometime between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Saturday, according to the Facebook post.
The stolen vehicle was described as a white 2002 GMC extended cab pickup, bearing Maine licence plate number 6817VA. The truck was unlocked and the keys were left in the ignition, police said.
The male suspect drove the pickup to the Hollis Lil Mart, refueled it, went inside to purchase an item and left headed toward Limington on Route 117. The state police posted a surveillance system image as part of its post.
