HOLLIS, Maine — State police are asking for the public’s help after a recent theft of two antique urns from a Hollis residence, according to a statement posted Friday.

The urns were stolen between the hours of 11:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 Friday morning from a Hollis Road residence, the statement said.

The urns contain the ashes of deceased relatives and have high sentimental value to the owners.

Anyone with information should call Trooper Adam Schmidt of Troop A at 657-3030.
