BRUNSWICK, Maine — Maine Department of Environmental Protection staff were at the Brunswick Lowe’s store Monday morning after an employee reported seeing someone in a recreational vehicle dump sewage into a storm drain.
Police and fire personnel were called to the store on Bath Road just before 10 a.m. Monday, and the fire department then contacted Maine DEP, Brunswick Police Cmdr. Mark Waltz said Tuesday.
A video camera at the adjacent Wal-Mart identified the license plate of the RV, Waltz said, but said any additional information would have to come from DEP officials, who did not immediately return a request for information Tuesday afternoon.
