SCARBOROUGH, Maine — Route 1 between Cascade Road in Saco and Old Blue Point Road in Scarborough is closed because of a serious crash with injuries.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area if possible or expect long delays.
Police said the Maine Turnpike will have a significant increase in traffic because of the crash.
