SMITHFIELD, Rhode Island — Anetra Byfield and Kailyn Ball each scored a goal to lead the University of Maine Black Bears to a 2-0 women’s soccer victory over Bryant Friday.
Maine improved its record to 4-2.
Annalena Kreibisch saved all four shots she faced for the Black Bears.
Kaylan Conrad saved three of five shots for 3-4 Bryant.

Samantha Wagg had Maine’s lone goal, as the Black Bears fell to 4-1 while BU is 5-0. The Terriers outshot Maine 14-8.
