TRENTON, Maine — A car crash near the Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport has forced the closure of Route 3, according to the Maine Department of Transportation.
A local detour is currently being established, DOT spokesman Ted Talbot said in a press release issued at about 2:30 p.m. Friday. Motorists should expect significant delays and are advised to seek an alternate route if possible, he said.
