HOLDEN, Maine — A local woman is facing several mostly drug-related charges after two encounters with Holden police this month, Holden Police Chief Chris Greeley said Wednesday.
Kristina Andrews, 27, of Holden was charged on Oct. 16 with two counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, one of them a Class B felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine up up $20,000, and the other a Class C felony offense that carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
On Oct. 21, she was charged with unlawful drug possession and two counts of violation of conditions of release, according to information obtained from the Penobscot County district attorney’s office.
The first round of charges occurred after Andrews was involved in a motor vehicle collision on Oct. 16 on Lower Dedham Road, Greeley said. At that time, police found her in possession of heroin, marijuana, cocaine and Ritalin valued at about $15,000 and placed her under arrest, Greeley said.
Greeley said that Andrews racked up another round of charges as the result of a bail check at her Dayze Way residence during which heroin was found.
