WESTBROOK, Maine — A 14-year-old local girl who was reported missing on Friday has returned home and is safe, Westbrook police Capt. Steve Goldberg said Saturday afternoon in a news release.
Jaedyn Smith had last been seen Thursday night around 11:30 p.m. Her mother contacted police after she found the teenager to be missing Friday morning when she went to wake her up for school.
Details about the girl’s return home were not available late Saturday afternoon.
