On January 6, a shot block resulted in Ben Hutton fracturing his hand.

A little more than a month later, Vancouver Canucks defenseman is ready to return to the lineup.

According to a video posted on Vancouver’s Web site, the former University of Maine standout will return to the Canucks on Tuesday night when they take on the Nashville Predators.

Before suffering the injury against the Calgary Flames, Hutton had tabulated four goals and seven assists in 41 games.

Hutton’s return comes as the Canucks sit five points out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference and as they open a six-game road trip.
