NEWFIELD, Maine – The York County Sheriff’s Office said they have found the body of missing Newfield hiker John Scabia Jr.
Scabia went missing Feb. 3. Officials said a hiker discovered the body at around 8 a.m. Friday, about a mile to 1½ miles from Scabia Jr.’s last known location.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
