WASHINGTON — A U.S. Air Force F-16 fighter jet crashed near National Harbor, Maryland on Wednesday morning and the pilot ejected safely, two U.S. officials said.
The officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the jet crashed 6 nautical miles southwest of National Harbor in an unpopulated area.
