BANGOR, Maine — Old Town took advantage of eight Bangor errors to cruise to a 20-3 District 3 Junior League All-Star baseball win at Mansfield Stadium on Wednesday.

In the other game, Holden-Brewer-Orrington defeated Sebasticook Valley 10-2.

In the first game, Tanner Evans paced Old Town with three singles and two RBIs. Zach Dill doubled and singled to drive in two runs while Cam Shorette collected two singles and an RBI.

Rhett McDonald doubled for Bangor.

In the second game, Anthony Chiappone tripled in a run to help pace Brewer, which eliminated Sebasticook.

Connor Young doubled in a run while Jacob Tyler had two singles for Brewer.

For Sebasticook, Andy Hopkins knocked in a run with a double.

American Legion

Brewer 13, Hampden 4

At Brewer on Tuesday, Brewer scored eight runs in the first inning and led all the way to defeat Hampden in an American Legion Senior division game.

Alex Flagg led the Falcons by going 4-4 and driving in six runs with a grand slam and a two-run double

Casey Sudbeck hit a two run double for the Riverdogs.

Hartt Transportation 8, Coffee News Cadets 4

At Bangor on Wednesday, Gavin Partridge doubled twice and drove in three runs to pace Hartt Transportation of Hampden past the Coffee News Cadets in an American Legion Junior division game.

Keith Pomeroy and Sam Economy both doubled while Pomeroy drove in two runs and Economy one for the winners. Pomeroy also tripled while Gavin Partridge tripled and drove in three runs.

Wyatt Harriman earned the win for Hartt with three scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk while striking out three.

Kevin Fish and Zach Grant each had two singles for Coffee News Cadets of Bangor, with Grant driving in two runs.
