Portland police are investigating the discovery of a dead body found in the city’s West End Tuesday morning, multiple media outlets have reported.

The man’s body was discovered around 7:15 a.m. near the intersection of Danforth and Vaughan streets, WMTW television reported.

A passer-by discovered the body, which had no identification, but police believe the man may have been a jogger based on what he was wearing, Portland police Lt. Robert Martin told the Portland Press Herald.

Police officials told the newspaper drug use does not appear to be a factor and there was no obvious trauma. The state medical examiner’s office will help determine the cause of death.
