BRUNSWICK, Maine — Brunswick police are searching for a man they say robbed a Tibbetts Drive TD Bank branch on Wednesday morning.
Police received a report of a hold-up alarm being activated at 9:08 a.m. at the TD Bank branch, and arrived to find the suspect had already fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a release from Brunswick Police Cmdr. Mark Waltz.
The suspect, a male, approximately 160 to 180 pounds and six-foot-one, allegedly entered the bank and demanded money. No weapon was displayed, and the man fled after receiving cash from a teller. No injuries were reported.
The suspect was reportedly wearing a gray knit cap, a long-sleeved black and gray baseball shirt and jeans.
Police ask anyone with information to call them at 725-5521, but urge people not to attempt to make contact with the suspect.
