Their prizes might not be much compared to the $759 million won by a Massachusetts woman, but some Mainers are among people who won lesser — but still significant — amounts of money in this week’s multistate Powerball drawing.

Maine Lottery indicated on its Facebook page that a $1 million-winning ticket was sold at Steamboat Galley in Searsport and another with a $50,000 prize was sold at Shaw’s in Freeport. The identities of the people who bought those tickets have not been released by Maine Lottery.

The Searsport store is expected to receive a $20,000 bonus for selling the $1 million ticket, according to a report in the Portland Press Herald.

This past spring, a local couple won $3.4 million with a Megabucks ticket they bought at a Circle K convenience store in Freeport.
