WEST HARTFORD, Connecticut — Gabriela Gamory scored early in overtime as the University of Maine women’s soccer team fell 2-1 to Hartford on Thursday evening.

The Black Bears’ Nicole Bailey had scored midway through the first half after Hartford’s Kaila Lozada had given the Hawks a 1-0 lead just five minutes into the match.

Maia Perez finished with four saves for Hartford while Annalena Kriebisch saved four for the Black Bears.

Bowdoin 3, Maine Maritime 2

At Brunswick, Bowdoin scored three second-half goals to rally for the win.

Lynn Farquhar, Claudette Proctor and Ana Lozada-Smith had the goals for Bowdoin (4-2-1) and Julia Patterson two assists. Rachel Stout collected three saves.

Makayla Lewis scored both goals for 2-8 Maine Maritime. Emily Conway compiled 12 saves.
