A 39-year-old Washington man has died of injuries he suffered in a crash early Monday morning, according to Maine State Police.
Craig MacMunn’s SUV crashed into a utility pole and rock embankment off the road near the intersection of Route 17 and Windsor Road in Chelsea around 2 a.m. Monday, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said Wednesday.
MacMunn was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland, but died of his injuries Tuesday night.
Troopers said speed contributed to the crash and that MacMunn wasn’t wearing his seat belt, MCCausland said.
