A Warren man was sentenced to more than two years of jail time for convictions of disorderly and indecent conduct, including exposing himself in the TJ Maxx parking lot in Rockland this summer, the latest incident in a series of indecent exposure or conduct convictions for the man.
In Knox County Unified Court on Nov. 16, Robert R. Demmons Sr., 60 was sentenced in four separate cases to a total sentence of two years and six months in jail, according to a court clerk.
The cases include three counts of indecent conduct, three counts of violating condition of release, one count of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal mischief, according to court documents.
Demmons has numerous prior convictions pertaining to indecent exposure and public indecency.
The latest conviction stems from two indecent exposure incidents in Rockland, one on Aug. 25 and the other on Aug. 28. According to a police affidavit, on Aug. 25 a woman saw Demmons exposing himself in the parking lot by T.J. Maxx. There are no details on the Aug. 28 incident, but it also occurred in Rockland.
Upon release, Demmons will serve one year probation.
