The archrivals played three overtime games this season with UMaine going 1-0-2. Tirone and the Wildcats had gone 6-0-3 vs. the Black Bears until UMaine rallied from a 3-1 third-period deficit to beat UNH 4-3 in overtime last month. UNH is 1-13-5 in its last 19 games. The Wildcats are quick and tenacious on the puck and an excellent transition team. UMaine will have to manage the puck well, cycle the puck and get to the net front. UNH ranks fifth in the country on the penalty kill at 87.6 percent. UNH coach Dick Umile is retiring after the season, his 28th behind the bench at UNH.
