HERMON, Maine — Hermon’s Andrew Crosby won his first Cap’s Tavern Modified Enduro feature of the season on Wednesday, the final night of the regular season for the Varney Buick-GMC-Mazda Wednesday night series at Speedway 95.

Crosby started on the outside pole and took the lead from pole-sitter Keith Drost of Stetson on the third lap of the 20-lap feature. Drost ran second for the majority of the race, but was passed by Newburgh’s Dustan Durrell in the closing laps to finish third. Durrell’s second-place finish in the cemented his hold on the top spot in the season points championship.

Hermon’s Kyle Gray and Joe Doughty of Hampden finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
