Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing before the Senate Judicial Committee got off to a chaotic start Tuesday, as Democrats sought to delay the hearing as soon as Chairman Chuck Grassley hit the gavel and protesters erupted. With the opening statements out of the way, Kavanaugh can expect to be grilled on his views about a slew of issues from abortion to gun control to executive power.
