Ring of Honor is coming to Lewiston in November.

It’s the first time the wrestling organization has come to Maine.

Performing will be the group “The Kingdom.”

It includes Vinnie Marseglia, known in the ring as “The Horror King,” as well as current world champion Matt Taven.

CBS 13’s Jeff Peterson caught up with the duo to talk about their show here in Maine.

“You’re simply going to see the best wrestling on the planet,” said Taven. “The best food comes out of a Crock-Pot — when it’s in the most pressure. [When] you bring out the best in one another, that’s what Ring of Honor does every time we’re live.”

Marseglia says fans will get to see a lot of personality. “It’s me. What you see out there is me and that’s what I truly am, I truly love,” he said.

Members of “The Kingdom” hope their first visit to Maine will not be their last. “It’s something that is going to be something special and hopefully becomes a tradition that we can continue to keep coming back up there,” said Taven.

Ring of Honor will be at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston on Wednesday, November 7th at 7 p.m.

For tickets, call (207) 783-2009 or visit the Colisee’s ticket website.

Ring of Honor is owned by Sinclair Broadcasting, the parent company of CBS 13.
