Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers: The Grinch
ELLSWORTH — The Grand begins its family offerings in December when the Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers present their annual take on everyone’s favorite holiday character, The Grinch, live on the Stanley Subaru Stage at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, and at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, directly after The Downtown Ellsworth Christmas Parade. Acadia Community Theater presents ‘A Christmas Story’
NORTHEAST HARBOR — Acadia Community Theater will perform “A Christmas Story” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at the The Neighborhood House, 1 Kimball Road. Wreath-making for kids at Blue Hill Public Library
BLUE HILL — Blue Hill Public Library is holding “Explore Outdoors!” with balsam wreath making from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at 5 Parker Point Road. Participants will have the chance to learn how to make a wreath using various native evergreen and berry species. This event is free and all are welcome. 2018 Annual Santa 5K Run/Walk to benefit Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center
ELLSWORTH — The annual 2018 Santa 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 2, at Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School, 20 Forest Ave. Pre-registration is from 8 to 9:45 a.m. with the race beginning at 10 a.m. After the race, participants will enjoy hot cocoa and sugar cookies.
