PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire — A man is accused of attaching what looked like a bomb onto the Portsmouth Christmas tree just before the holiday parade.
Richard Will, 36, was charged with criminal threatening and disorderly conduct, according to police.
Just before the city’s parade on Saturday, police say a witness saw a man attach a suspicious device to the tree, but it turned out to be a hoax.
Will is free on bail.
